Emails going to junk or not being delivered?

When Gmail and Outlook cannot prove your email is really from you, they bin it. We find out why, fix your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and test until your mail lands in the inbox. From $790 + GST.

Why are my emails going to junk?

Usually because your domain's SPF, DKIM or DMARC records are missing or wrong, so receiving servers cannot confirm the email came from you. Google, Yahoo and Microsoft now expect all three. Fix the records for every service that sends as your domain, then enforce DMARC. Cyberstore does this from $790 + GST per domain.

Why are my emails not being delivered?

In most cases, Gmail, Outlook and other providers cannot confirm the email really came from your domain, because SPF, DKIM or DMARC is missing or set up wrong. So they send it to junk or reject it. Other causes are a blacklisted server, a website sending as you, or a hacked mailbox.

The rules got tighter recently. Google and Yahoo started requiring SPF, DKIM and DMARC from bulk senders in February 2024, and Microsoft followed for Outlook.com and Hotmail from 5 May 2025. Small businesses get caught too, because a domain with no DMARC record looks the same as a spammer to a filter.

// FAQ

Common questions

Why are my emails going to junk?

The most common reason is that your domain's SPF, DKIM or DMARC records are missing or wrong, so Gmail and Outlook cannot prove the email really came from you. Other causes are a website or newsletter tool sending as your domain without permission, a blacklisted server, or a hacked mailbox sending spam.

Why do Gmail and Outlook reject my emails?

Since February 2024, Google and Yahoo require bulk senders to have SPF, DKIM and DMARC in place. Microsoft brought in the same rule for Outlook.com and Hotmail from 5 May 2025, sending failing mail to junk and then rejecting it. Even small senders are judged more harshly without these records.

Do I need DMARC?

Yes, if you send email from your own domain. DMARC tells receiving servers what to do with email that fails checks, and sends you reports showing who is sending as you. It is also what stops criminals sending fake invoices in your name.

My website contact form emails never arrive. Is that the same problem?

Often, yes. Websites usually send from your domain through the web server, which is not listed in your SPF record. We fix it by sending form emails through an authenticated mail service and adding it to your records.

How long does it take to fix?

Most fixes take a day or two to set up. DMARC is then moved from monitoring to full enforcement over a few weeks, so no legitimate email gets blocked along the way.

How much does it cost?

From $790 + GST per domain to diagnose and fix SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Ongoing DMARC monitoring is $99 a month. Larger setups with many sending services are quoted.
